|Chocolate Icecream, 22 June 2015: Ingredients
2 heaped tbsp caster sugar
4 tbsp water
175g good quality dark chocolate
3 medium egg yolks
250ml whipping cream
1. Microwave sugar and water in a bowl on high heat for 1 minute. Stir and return to microwave for another minute.
2. Break chocolate into a blender, add the hot sugar and water mixture and blend until smooth - add the egg yolks and blend again.
3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture. Pour into container and freeze.
4. Remove from freezer 20 minutes before serving. ...
